Milton, FL is a beautiful city that is located in the Florida Panhandle. It’s less than an hour drive from the beaches of Gulf Shores, Destin, and Pensacola. The region has been under British, Spanish, and French occupation thirteen times. The city has been named as a Scratch Ankle, and the area once had a substantial timber and industrial capacity. But the industrial capacity was destroyed during the American Civil War. After the war, the area suffered a 20-year lull, and many of the residents left the area for Alabama.
In addition to its rich natural environment, Milton is home to a variety of unique landmarks. One of these landmarks is the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and Rectory, which was built in 1888.
